MOON FLOWERS – by Anne Reeve (Competition Entry)

MOON FLOWERS by Anne Reeve

A magical place
An alien world
Lines of vapour, green with blue
Landscapes swathed in every hue
Pale moon sleeps in purple skies
Unaware of peering eyes
A miniature world all planned and perfect
Nature will not change the scene
What is now, and what has been
Only Time has willing hours
To change the face of, pale moon flowers.
