LOVE’S VISION FORBIDDEN
Love is a feeling you can’t taste or touch
But you know it’s real coz it hurts so much
Broken hearts shatter into tiny shards of glass
Splattered with blood, tears falling fast
Unspent agony cries like a wolf
Howling at the moon for a love now lost
Secrets lie buried veiled in the past
A whispering wind through tombstones does pass
No Angels walk by here for fear of the dark
A bleeding heart cries as the moon turns blood red
What vision is this I see in my head
A future that’s lost never to be addressed
Written in tablets cast out of stone
Their love was forbidden and no one must know
Their agony seen only in each other’s eyes
As they witness their future a vision outcast
They run from the truth but there’s nowhere to hide
And so their hearts beat in unison for the very last time …..
