#13 – Justice
Justice is an intensely personal and subjective concept that should be looked at without prejudice and fear. Justice is inherently bound up with power and fear. Justice, like power, needs the balance of give and take which comes through the interaction of honesty and integrity in the unity and partnership of social interactions of peers.
#14 – Fear
I am aware today of how much fear dominates our lives. Just turn on the television and see how fear is used as a weapon by others in battles of power and control. Fear is the most dangerous of all the emotions. It cripples personal freedoms. It inhibits self expression and creativity. It is used by those experiencing it themselves to control those who are weaker. It is a dark and suffocating consequence of the inequalities in power relationships (including the relationship of the self ).
